Rescheduled Beauts Road Games Versus Whale Announced
BUFFALO – The Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced that the Buffalo Beauts regular season road games against the Connecticut Whale, previously scheduled for Nov. 19 and 20, will be played on Tuesday Jan. 17 at 7:00pm and Wednesday Jan. 18 at 7:30pm.
The Beauts will already be on the road for their Jan. 14 and 15 contests in Boston against the Pride. They will remain on the road following those games and will head directly to Connecticut to take on the Whale for the newly rescheduled contests.
The Jan. 17 matchup will be played at Milford Ice Arena and will be broadcast live via Mixlr, a free streaming platform, at (https://mixlr.com/phfrn). The game will not be available to stream on ESPN+ or affiliates.
Sam Fryman (@sfryman20) will be on the call for the Whale as he enters his fifth season as a voice of the Premier Hockey Federation. Beginning with the Boston Pride in 2018, Fryman has broadcast every season following, including as a rink-side analyst at the 2020 PHF All Star Game. Joining Fryman behind the mic as color commentator is Matt Wallace, the lead color commentator for the University of Pennsylvania Women’s Hockey Team. In addition to hockey, Wallace has called a variety of blind paralympic sports, including Goal Ball tournaments throughout the northeast and the last two Beep Baseball World Series.
The Jan. 18 game will be played at the International Skating Center of Connecticut (ISCC) in Simsbury, CT and will be streamed live on ESPN+ and affiliates.
Following the weekend series against Connecticut, the Beauts will return home to Buffalo where they will play host to the visiting Metropolitan Riveters on Saturday Jan. 21 at 7:00pm and Sunday Jan. 22 at 1:00pm. Tickets for both home games against Metro can be purchased at https://beauts.goigniter.com/. Jan. 21 is the Beauts’ “Pride Night” game and the team will be wearing specialty jerseys in support of the LGBTQIA+ Community.
