Forward Boyle Requests Contract Release From Beauts
BUFFALO – The Buffalo Beauts have agreed to a contract release for forward Michaela Boyle, at the request of the player. Boyle requested the release on Thursday, February 16 with the details being finalized by the team over the weekend while in Minnesota and the contract being voided Monday morning February 20.
“The parting between the Beauts and Michaela Boyle was done at the request of the player and we have honored that request,” said Beauts GM Nate Oliver. “We wish Michaela the very best moving forward and thank her for her time with the Beauts.”
Boyle appeared in 16 of the Beauts’ 2022-23 regular games during her tenure with the organization. She is in her first professional season of hockey following collegiate seasons with Clarkson University (2017—2019), Robert Morris University (2019—2021) and Boston College (2021-22). She was a practice player for the Boston Pride during the 2021-22 Premier Hockey Federation season.
