Beauts Sign Klimášová to PTO Against Pride
BUFFALO – The Buffalo Beauts have announced that they have signed forward Iveta Klimášová to a professional tryout offer (PTO) for this evening’s Saturday, January 14 game versus the Boston Pride at 7 pm EST. This is the fourth of Buffalo’s 10 PTOs for the season that they have utilized. Klimášová has been with the team since Beauts’ training camp started back on September 23.
“I am really excited to get this opportunity to play with the Beauts again,” said Klimášová. “I am very thankful to be back. LET’S GO BEAUTS!”.
Klimášová previously played for the Beauts during the 2019-20 and 2020-21 Premier Hockey Federation seasons. She is 3-15-18 in her 30 regular season PHF games – all spent with Buffalo. Klimášová shares the Beauts’ team record alongside Marie-Jo Pelletier for most assists in a single season with 15.
In addition to her time with the Beauts, the 25-year-old from Prakovce, Slovakia is a five-time member of the Slovakian Women’s National Team. By happenstance, today is also Klimášová’s birthday.
