Beauts Head Rhea Coach Coad Steps Down
BUFFALO – The Buffalo Beauts and head coach Rhea Coad have parted ways following four seasons. Coad submitted her resignation to the team last week.
Coad began her coaching career with the Beauts as an assistant coach during the 2019-20 Premier Hockey Federation season. She was appointed associate head coach in 2020-21 by former Beauts head coach Pete Perram. Coad was then named the team’s head coach outright beginning with the 2021-22 season and continuing through the conclusion of the 2022-23 PHF regular season.
Under Coad’s tenure as head coach, the team compiled a record of 11-30-3 over those two seasons.
“We wish Rhea the best of luck as she continues her coaching career and we thank her for her four seasons with the Beauts,” said Buffalo GM Nate Oliver. “We are currently conducting a search and are in the process of interviewing candidates to ultimately fill the role of the team’s next head coach.”
